Victory Gbakara is the Nigerian Idol Season Eight winner, and he recently revealed that the process was much more challenging than it seemed. In an interview with Netng, he disclosed that each contestant had to have strong motivation and discipline to go through the rigorous competition.

Precious Mac, the first runner-up of the season agreed with this point, but added that although it was challenging, it was an enjoyable process for them. Victory Gbakara continued to reveal that although he would be venturing more into the gospel side of the music industry, he intends to explore universal messages like love in his music.

Meanwhile, Precious Mac professed that she currently has some music in the works that she would be releasing soon. As for the reward, Victory Gbakara not only won a cash prize of 35 million naira, but also a brand new SUV and a special weekend getaway to Cape Town, South Africa, along with other gifts from Bigi and DStv.

Since 2011, the Mac Sisters have been dominating music competitions with their remarkable talent and charisma. Not only have they showcased their talent on the stage, but they have also been able to stand the test of time in the music industry.

Clearly, Nigerian Idol has been a platform for inspiring aspiring musicians in their bid to making a successful career in the music industry. Not only does it serve as an enjoyable way to hone their skills (mentally and physically) but also a platform for them to commune and showcase their music to a larger audience.
