The rumors have been swirling for a while now—Apple is on the verge of announcing its latest iPhone family with the iPhone 15, Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2, and potentially an iPad mini. And now we know exactly how the company is planning to handle the announcement.

According to Mark Gurman, the news will drop at an event with “recorded video + people watching at the Apple campus + hands on afterwards.” This is the same format that Apple has used for the past couple of events, so it’s no surprise that the iPhone 15 event is looking to follow suit.

The reports all point to an event on either September 12th or 13th and, while the majority of anticipation is focused on the upcoming iPhones, the event could have even more to offer. Along with the iPhone 15, Apple could potentially introduce an iPad mini, and the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 are expected to get upgrades as well.

The iPhone 15 is set to bring some major design changes, as well as a switch from Lightning to USB-C and the expansion of the Dynamic Island across all four models. The top-tier model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, is expected to have a new periscope telephoto lens to break into the 5x zoom range.

With the iPhone 15 event coming soon, preparations are under way at Apple and, with any luck, we’ll know all the details by the end of the month. For now, all we can do is wait, anticipate the reveal, and stay tuned to see what other new products Apple will announce
